It's Final...We Are Moving!!
This decision to move to North Carolina has been a long time in the making. Tony was asked to relocate back in early May and we talked, and talked, and talked, and talked, researched, and researched and talked and researched some more about considering their offer. Tony and I even ran down there for a quick last minute trip a week ago to make sure 100% before we gave our final answer. And the final answer was given last week that we accepted their offer.
The decision was not made lightly, we weighed out all options, and included the kids in on most everything, with their interests first on our list. Since we accepted their offer it has been a whirlwind!! There are real estate agents in and out, house inspections to be done, moving companies giving estimates, we are getting ready for a garage sale by going through all the closets, drawers, cupboards, toy bins, cleaning out the garage and basement, the list seems endless. Not to mention the task of closing accounts, adding new accounts, gathering medical information, and on and on and on. And let's not forget that we are also moving Grandma Joyce down there also.
The excitement that we started off with is being weighed down with to-do list after to-do list. I have gone through more post-it notes in the last 2 weeks than I have in the last 2 years!
And the reality of leaving friends and family has set in, so we are cramming in visit after visit. So much to do, so little time......
