We went back and forth this year about going to Long's or not, because of all the driving we had been doing with the move to North Carolina, but these pictures on the water slides show why I am so happy we went this past summer!

Waiting for normal.....

I know, I know, I have not been a very good blogger since we decided to uproot all that we know, and move to another state. The last 6 months have been.....well, different. Not normal. Up and down. Happy and sad. Many of these emotions and feelings are still running around for me. I am still waiting for "normal." But as of today, I realized things will never be normal again. That sounds negative I know, but I also know that things will turn out for good. This move was exciting as first, but then the reality of a whole new place with new people and places set in. The kids went to school, and began a new world where Tony and I had no clue about the people surrounding them. Things are getting better, and we are learning about all the new people and places so we are beginning to feel more comfortable. But we never realized the impact it would have on our family to leave our friends, neighbors, and family back in Ohio.

I just keep praying to God to give me the strength to make it another day and to begin to find some type of "normal."

I need to get back to this blog to keep all our times together remembered, because those are what makes a family stronger and grateful for all that we do have. Life is never normal no more matter what you do, and I guess if it was....how boring is that? The ups and downs are what keeps us going. Tana keeps asking when I am going to start writing on here again and not just post the pictures.

Well, here I go....normal or not.
