The Last One

Tonight was Casey's last highschool football game. They lost in the playoffs 31-28. Casey did end his career with a TD!

As we were driving home from the game I began thinking about all the years I have been watching this kid play football. I can still remember his first flag football team when he was 5 years old. I can clearly picture his red tshirt and black shorts running for a TD! I am so honored and proud that I got to be there for his games. Proud to have worn his number and name on the back of sweatshirts or tshirts over the years. So many good memories, and some that had injuries and weren't so good! Gosh, I loved watching this kid run down the field. Proud Mama then, proud Mama now, and proud Mama forever!

Dad got 2nd in his age group with 1:35 and Mom finished at 2:01! And we had the best fans to cheer us on!!
