Playing hooky!

Last week, we had Kayla and Kenzie here at the same time for spring break.  The kids had school so there was not too much we could sneak away and do.  But on Monday I let Tana play hooky and we got up at 3am to drive the girls to a beach in Florida.  We got there at 9am, spent the day, and got home at 9pm that night.  It was so worth it!!  We had great weather, saw dolphins in the ocean, found lots of shells, and most of all....enjoyed eachother's company! 

Friends Forever

In between Cleveland and Piqua, we made a quick overnight pit stop in Columbus.  It was so wonderful to see our friends!!  We were so busy visiting, that we barely took any pictures!  As soon as we got there Tana was dropped off at Ashley's, then Hailey's, and we did not see her until the next day!  Casey stayed at Erin's awhile then headed over to Austin's for the night.  Kyle and Thomas never looked up from playing with Charlie and the twins!  Kay, Jim, Shelly and Pat, Debbie and Don, all came over Erin and Jim's to see us.  No one wanted to leave!!  Erin and I could have stayed up all night talking, gosh I miss her.   The hardest part was looking out  Erin's windows and seeing lights on and people living in our old house.....it was really sad.  While we are making great friends here in North Carolina, our hearts are still, and always be, in Columbus.

Cooperstown was not just about baseball..........there was a little fun every now and then!!
