Thanksgiving Day!!!

Started with a neighborhood 5K, then turkey frying, wine drinking, lots of eating, but most of all good company!  So blessed and thankful! 

She's engaged!!

I remember it like it was yesterday......I would be in the checkout line at the grocery store with 4 little ones, all 6 and under.  I would be trying to load the groceries from the cart to the conveyor belt while I was holding Kyle who was 2 years old, Thomas, the baby, was in the car seat fussing, and Casey, the 4 year old, was sitting in the grocery cart handing me the groceries, and my oldest....Tana, was next to me trying to be a big sister and help her Mommy.  The person behind me in line, this happened often back then because I took my kids everywhere with me, would always smile sweetly and say, "Enjoy it now, it goes by so fast."  I would smile sweetly back and say, "Oh, I will," but sweet is not exactly how I was feeling at the moment!  But they were right, time did fly by.  It flew by so very fast!!  And today my daughter got engaged!!  My first born, my only daughter, my best friend, she was always by my side back then and still is to this day.  And I can't wait to be by her side now helping her plan her wedding to an amazing young man who I am so proud to be able to call my son soon!
