Bye Boston!

All work and no play.....

.....makes Tana a cranky girl!  So a beer tour was MUST after all her hard work!  We toured Harpoon Brewery.  It was by far Tana's favorite part of the trip! And anything I do with Tana is my favorite!

So proud of this girl!  She has no problem with public speaking at all, she did amazing!  I am so glad I got to come with her and be there! 

Enjoying Boston!

While Tana was busy at the conference I ran the Charles River greenway.  Weather was awesome and view wasn't so bad either! 

We ate lots of good food, one of our favorite lunches was at The Cafeteria.  It was on Newbury Street, which was right by our hotel and is filled with lots of great restaurants and places to shop! We spent lots of time on Newbury Street, atleast I did.....shopping.  I had to keep busy while Tana was working. 

Boston trip!

 Tana got picked to present her thesis paper at a conference in Boston, a very prestigious honor!  Now what kind of mother would I be if I let her go alone?!  Yep, I tagged along and we had a blast! 

First thing we did was take a walk on "The Freedom Trail" to see all the historic sights.  Boston is a beautiful place, to busy for me, but a wonderful place to visit!

Happy 22nd Birthday Tana!!!

Tana celebrated her birthday by getting a tattoo!!  The purple flower is a Larkspur for her birth month, the blooming dogwoods are NC's official state flower, and the Daisy is for fidelity, being true to herself.  It's beautiful, not as beautiful as her of course, but beautiful on her!
