Our Last Night in New York
We didn't have anything planned for the last night since we weren't sure how the kids would feel after racing. But they weren't phased and after they showered they wanted to go, go, go! So we headed to Times Square and started walking. There was a 2 story candy store Kyle had heard about so we headed that way. On the way we came across The Plaza hotel. Tony wanted to go in and have a drink at the bar, I wasn't so sure but I am glad I listened to him! The hotel was gorgeous, and it was the most expensive glass of Moscato I have ever had, but worth it!
It turned out to be one of the most fun nights we had!!

Day 2 Continued!
After Central Park and the Art Museum we got ready, hopped on the Subway and began our sight seeing. First we had to eat hot dogs and pretzels off a food cart! Then we hopped on and off the subway to travel all around. We went to Battery Park to see the Statue of Liberty, then Wall Street to see the famous bull and rub his "you know what" for good luck. We visited the memorial for the Twin Towers, we stopped by the Oculus, then on to Little Italy for some amazing food at Aunt Jake's and dessert after at King Cannoli! And finally to China Town for some fake Gucci purchases for the kids and many laughs for the adults!

Day 2.....go, go, go!
We got up, grabbed breakfast and headed to Central Park for a little shakeout run before the big races the next day. I also had a 4xmile girls team that qualified. So Kaitlyn met up with us and away we went. It was gorgeous and more than I imagined, and I could have stayed all day!
Since Dad had already ran in Central Park earlier that day he went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and loved it!! He could have stayed there all day too!
